Hard for those of us who work full time desk jobs. It's the literal beginning of summer....cookouts, swimming, sunbathing, lazy mornings, afternoon walks. Unfortunately that's not the case for the full time working mom. Work continues. Meetings still get put on the calendar. Work travel continues. Deadlines are still there. There are droves of people who don't CARE that it's June, don't CARE that the kids are off school, don't CARE that the ice cream truck just went by. This all happens while the rest of the world would appear to be taking a few months off. I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy for those who don't have to ... work a full time desk job. How do you juggle a summer mentality with a winter workload?
